Mark Weiler Artist Biography A native of Utah, Mark Weiler attended the University of Utah. His focus at that time was biomaterials engineering. He was involved with the artificial heart and medical device research programs. Yet in each and every endeavor his interest in art would come to the front. He studied at the Salt Lake Art Center. He has also taken a wide range of workshops and classes in the art arena. Recently he has been involved with the open sculpting studio at the University of Utah. From there it became a journey of self —discovery and practice. Recognized as one of the best in the country at art reproduction using the IRIS printing technology; Mark has lectured all over the United States and France on the subject of emerging technology in art reproduction. He was proud to use this talent with artists involved with the Olympics such as Susan Swartz, Bill Hill, and Marc Ahr.
